Syllabus ; Daily Schedule ; Location ; How
to get there
This 200 hour Yoga Teachers Training course has an interdisciplinary
approach that will draw from several mainstream traditions as well as the
instructors’ own wide experience. The teachers on this course are also
experienced therapists.
As a teacher you need to guide people so that they can not only do the
poses without injury but do them in a way suited to their own present
condition. It’s not only important to know how to adapt any pose but also to
know which alternatives may be better suited. Emphasis is on getting the prana
(or energy) to flow in each person and for each person to practice with
enjoyment, correct breathing and sincerity.

La Croce is a farmhouse situated just outside the village of Rimbocchi (walking distance) near the town of Bibbiena (bus connection), half way between Florence and Arezzo in the Tuscan hills. This is the northern tip of the Casentino National Park. The farmhouse lies on the footpath which leads directly to the monastery of Chuisi della Verna where St. Francis of Assisi experienced his stigmata.
La Croce, altitude 700 metres, is
surrounded by mainly oak and chestnut trees. The park is home to many varieties
of wild fauna and wild animals including wolves, deer, wild boar, falcons and
eagles. The views from the house are spectacular. There are waterfalls and small
pools to swim in at the foot of the mountain.
Accommodation : The farmhouse has 4 bedrooms (from 2 to 6 beds)
but you may bring a tent if you prefer to camp.
There’s no landline telephone connection at La Croce, nearest
telephone and internet cafe in nearby towns Bibbiena and Biforco.
Fly to
Pisa (Ryanair) or Rome (Ryanair, Easyjet), then by train to Arezzo, which is
also well linked from Milano, Bologna and even Genoa. There is also a rail link
from Arezzo to Bibbiena. We will meet you at Arezzo or Bibbiena railway station.
